Yes, I’m blogging from Bali, where I haven’t moved from my pool lounger.
(Oh yes, that’s all from one lazy spot)
I can’t not blog about this, I was flipping lazily through the current issue of Female magazine (I brought a couple of Singapore glossies so I’m not toting my iPad to the beach) and came across the ad for the newest Cosme Decorte collaboration with Marcel Wanders.
(His website says this is for Kose…are they the same group?)
I knew he did a collaboration with MAC – there’s a new Spring collection, by the way – but I haven’t seen it in Singapore shops.
Last time I blogged about a Marcel Wanders collaboration it was the KLM in-flight dinnerware, just before a full service came out for Alessi. Why did I not know about the makeup? Is there anything this design star can’t do (without over-exposing himself like Karim Rashid and Zaha Hadid, that is)?
Dutch design-rockstar Marcel Wanders has designed tableware for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines with lightweight porcelain, cutlery and glassware. From March 27, business class flyers will get to enjoy one of the luxuries that once defined air travel. The tableware is said to be of lighter weight than typical airline tableware to decrease each flight’s carbon footprint. How considerate. And how very pretty!
